From October 17 to 20, 2024, the Sergi Sànchez Gallery participated in the 32nd edition of ESTAMPA, the international contemporary art fair held at IFEMA MADRID, one of the most important events in the Spanish art market, which in this edition brought together nearly 100 galleries from across Spain and internationally.
Our exhibition was conceived as a crossroads of practices and genealogies, articulating pieces by our artists with other works that demonstrate historical and formal dialogues within the contemporary field. We present work by Vanessa Pey, Javier Garcés, Ingrid Emaga, Bianca Batlle-Nguema, and Xavier Déu, in conversation with key references from modernism and the avant-garde, contributing to a pluralistic reading of the artistic present.
This participation served as a space for meeting and reflection with professionals, collectors and the general public, reaffirming the gallery’s commitment to proposals capable of establishing meaningful connections between tradition, innovation and visual thinking.
