From March 4th to 9th, Sergi Sánchez Gallery took part in the SAM Fair (Semana del Arte Moderno) in Madrid, strengthening its presence in the national contemporary art scene with a vibrant proposal. We presented a carefully curated selection of works by our represented artists, reaffirming their commitment to innovative, socially engaged, and high-quality art, with pieces by Vanessa Pey, Bianca Batlle Nguema, Xavi Déu, Javier Garcés, and Ingrid Emeaga. Cada uno de ellos aportó una visión singular, que en conjunto ofreció un panorama diverso y estimulante del arte actual.
In addition, the gallery enriched its proposal with a special selection of works by established avant-garde artists on the international circuit, creating a powerful dialogue between generations, territories, and diverse artistic languages.
One of the most notable moments of the fair was the visit of Yolanda Díaz, representative of Sumar Madrid, to the Sergi Sánchez Gallery stand. Her presence reaffirmed the institutional and political interest in new voices in contemporary art and highlighted the importance of events like SAM in giving visibility to proposals committed to diversity and critical creation.
